Audi S3 8L Door & Quarter Panel Blades

It is no surprise that the S3 8L is one of the most popular of the Audi S-models, since not only the price, but the appearance and the technical characteristics make it a very attractive car. The car has a sporty and wide look on its own, but with the correct modifications it can be perfected easily and quickly. The already great platform inspired us to create our Carbon Fiber Door & Quarter Panel Blades, which doesn't break up the lines of the S3 8L. 

We took the dimensions of the factory Door & Quarter Panel Blades and reworked the geometry subtly. The ends and the sharp edge were rounded off and were given a perfect curve to achieve a strong harmony between the reworked part and the round, yet sporty look of the car’s bodywork.

The I.L.R. Door & Quarter Panel Blades complete the wide look of the line between the rear and front wheels, providing the car with a confidence inspiring look of stability and sportiness from all perspectives, while they remain in complete harmony with the overall design.

We find it important to mention that the past 10-15 years inevitably left marks on any car, causing the factory Door & Quarter Panel Blades to age, become wavy and lose their glossy finish.

This can’t happen to the Door & Quarter Panel Blades made by ILR, because:
- Our products are entirely manufactured out of fiber reinforced plastics, and they do not have metal profiles for installation, leaving no chance of the part becoming wavy from rusting. Even the factory bolts are exchanged to a set of stainless bolts,
- We use a UV-resistant, high-quality topcoat when finishing the surface of the product to ensure a long lasting glossy finish,
- We use a high-quality weatherproof EPDM rubber component in order to ensure the quick draining of rain and other fluids that could damage the product.

The installation process of the Quarter Panel Blades is the same as of the factory Blades. The Blade has pegs on the inside that slide into a rail that is on the quarter panel. The Door Blades are fixed into place with 4 stainless bolts on each side, through the original openings provided for the installation of the factory Door Blades. An easy positioning and a perfect fit are made possible by the Plug&Play installation method. This means that the installation is quick, easy, and there is no need to use any parts of the original Door & Quarter Panel Blades.

Our products are fully made of either carbon fiber (CF) or carbon fiber PrePreg (CF PrePreg) fabric. We never skin any foreign object or component with carbon fiber posteriorly like many manufacturers on the market.

The set contains: 
    - 2 Carbon Fiber Door Blades with a glossy finish and integrated EPDM rubber profiles,
    - 2 Carbon Fiber Quarter Panel Blades with a glossy finish
    - 8 stainless bolts for the 2 Door Blades (stainless washers also included)


The Door Blades can be installed with our Plug&Play method on the following models:
    - Audi S3 8L (MY 1999-2003) – Both Pre- and Post-Facelift
