Audi TT RS 8J Fuel Tank Lid + Frame

The 8J series TTRS is a pioneer on one hand, since it was the first to receive the legendary 5-cylinder turbo engine of Audi, and a last Mohican on the other since it was the last Audi RS model to be equipped with a manual transmission. Based on its parameters we can conclude that this model is a one of a kind masterpiece in the automotive industry.

Although it has a much more serious appearance than the previous model (8N), the design still needs some modifications to correctly reflect the performance of the car. The most important of these modifications is the use of motorsport-inspired materials on visible parts, such as on the fuel tank lid incl. frame, on the rear spoiler, etc.

The developed products for the 8J model were mainly inspired by the factory performance package of the TTRS 8S. We try to constantly expand our catalogue of parts, so that the 8J owners don’t have a disadvantage when it comes to individualizing their TT.

The carbon fuel tank lid is a result of thorough design and engineering since it unites the latest technologies of the automotive industry. The part responsible for fixation is produced out of stainless steel via NC-controlled laser cutters, -press brakes and -mills, and the composite part is manufactured via vacuum-infusion.

Our products are fully made of either carbon fiber (CF) or carbon fiber PrePreg (CF PrePreg) fabric. We never skin any foreign object or component with carbon fiber posteriorly like many manufacturers on the market.

These advanced technologies make a perfect fitment possible, identical to that of the factory version of the part. All our products are made with the Plug&Play installation method in mind.
