Audi TT RS 8J Rear Wing 'THUNDERHILL'

No wonder the Audi TT RS 8J is one of the most popular track tools. The powerful, sonorous engine, the low center of gravity, the sporty tuned suspension predestine the car to be a real racing car. Our Team recognized these properties and added the icing on the cake by developing a rear wing made entirely of carbon fiber. It is called ‘Thunderhill’ and was named after the famous racetrack in Northern California.

Our goal was to develop a geometry where neither the design nor the function are subordinate to each other. The width of the aerofoil (61,4” / 51,17 feet / 156cm) is adapted to the laminar air flow on the sides of the car. The endplates control the the airflow to make its way over, under and around the aerofoil device. This two components generate an enormous downforce you will need on trackdays without increasing the weight of the rear section. The carbon fiber cloth / epoxy resin material matrix results in an extremely low weight of 65,5oz / 1600gramms.

Based on the extreme dimensions of the Rear Wing it is mainly made for motorsport purposes, but with proper registration it is perfect for everyday use as well. Regulations regarding the registration vary through countries, so we advise you to check with responsible authorities!

Our products are fully made of either carbon fiber (CF) or carbon fiber PrePreg (CF PrePreg) fabric. We never skin any foreign object or component with carbon fiber posteriorly like many manufacturers on the market.
